This ad campaign was created with the intensions of bringing awareness to the amount of plastic humans go through and the reality of where plastic actually goes. Although this is not a real commission from Greenpeace to create a series of posters and a website design, I treated it as though they had. My goal was to bring the most impact to the viewer by thinking about where they would see it, when they would see it, and why they see it. This imagery of mixing food with trash is nothing new but my take on its impact was to directly connect to the consumer side. A lot of fast-food companies use vast amounts of plastic in their packaging. So, placing these poster ads at bus stops where individuals either have fast-food or are getting it will have the most impact. The design of each poster is relatively simple because the focus is on the plastic food images. With the website I used pictures of trash to create textures and used the image directly below within the website to make the information seem buried in plastic.
